Where to Stay

Lake Como is home to many beautiful towns, but to make your travel experience as seamless as possible, we recommend staying in one of the towns located along the main road (highlighted in purple on the map). These include Menaggio, Cadenabbia, Tremezzo, Mezzegra (unlabeled), and Lenno. Accommodations in these areas are generally easier to access by car, which will help simplify your arrival and departure.

Once you’ve booked your accommodations, we kindly ask that you let us know where you’ll be staying. This will allow us to coordinate wedding day boat transportation to and from Villa del Balbianello, which is only accessible by water. Even if you're staying nearby, a boat will still be required to reach the venue. We’ll be arranging a coordinated boat pickup for all guests, and the departure location and time will be shared once logistics are finalized.

If you haven’t booked yet and would like guidance, we’re more than happy to review your accommodation plans in advance to ensure your location is convenient for wedding events. We recommend staying near Menaggio, where the welcome party will be held and where transportation options are generally more flexible. That said, you are of course welcome to stay wherever feels best for you.

To assist guests who may be unfamiliar with the area, we’ve curated a list of three-, four-, and five-star hotel options within the recommended towns. Click the image below to visit their official website. These properties are well located for easy access to all wedding-related events. While most hotels on the lake do not offer room block arrangements and require individual bookings through your preferred platform, we have secured a limited room block at Hotel Lario, a three-star hotel in Mezzegra. Rooms are available at approximately €250 per night, making it a great option for guests looking for more affordable accommodations.

Airbnb & villa rentals are also wonderful and flexible alternatives, especially for groups, families, or longer stays. If you’re considering a vacation rental, feel free to reach out before booking, and we’d be happy to confirm whether your location is well situated for the event schedule.
